2001 Introduction

Aileen Castlebury, PINE BRANCH DAYLILY GARDEN

CASTLE CHOCOLATE TAFFY

(R. 2001) 22" ERe sev 3 1/2" (95-103-4) When I first saw this bloom, I knew the word "chocolate" had to be in its name; the eye and small edge are very close to the color of chocolate taffy--not dark like baking chocolate. The dark color compliments the soft cream petals and sepals. A fertile plant reblooming twice here, an average bud count on the 3-way branched scapes is 14. $10.
