2001 Introduction

Aileen Castlebury, PINE BRANCH DAYLILY GARDEN

CASTLE BUTTERFLY CHARMER

(R. 2001) 28" MRe sev 5" (95-278-2S) This unusual form bloom with pinched and twisted crispate segments is one of two that I introduced in 2001. I have been working with spiders, spider variants, and unusual forms for a few years, and I am extremely proud of my first entries in this new category. The very large chartreuse to yellow throat compliments the rose-mauve blend petals and sepals, with the cream watermark and mid-ribs adding an extra touch. An average of 25 buds are found on the 4-way branching scapes. Fertile. $20.
